Pass the Joint & Let's Be Blunt: Should Marijuana Be Legalized

There are not one but two cannabis-themed events happening on the campus of the legendary Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. Both lectures will feature a star-studded gathering of cannabis advocates.
Pass the Joint, located at the Armstrong Student Center, will feature lectures with:

- Pastor Damon Lynch, III, Co-Founder, Have a Heart Cincy Dispensary; Pastor, New Prospect Baptist Church

Let’s Be Blunt will feature discussions with former presidential candidate, Julián Castro, as well as Dr. Bertha Madras.
The event will be held on Wednesday, March 11, 2020 from 6:30 – 8:00PM in Miami University’s Wilks Theater in Oxford, Ohio. The event is free and open to the public, ticket required. A public reception will follow the forum in the Armstrong Pavilion.

Snowy Days Ahead!
There was a report about a week ago that revealed that Lake Erie has yet to freeze — something that is usually well under way by this time in January. In fact, the report indicated that Lake Erie is usually roughly 40% frozen by mid-January.
In 2020, however, the lake freezing has been delayed. What this could mean is that we’ll soon be seeing some wild winter storms and lake effect snow rolling across Cleveland, Akron and Toledo. And southern Ohio cities like Columbus and Dayton are likely to see some freezing rain.
