Halloween is just around the corner! We’re only a few short days away from my favorite holiday of the year. What’s your favorite thing about this season? For me, this season provides the perfect excuse to watch as many horror films as possible, from classics like The Thing or Nightmare on Elm Street, to obscure titles like Pledge Night or Nightmare Beach. No matter the quality, if it’s horror in October … I’m all in.
As usual, below we’ve collected a handful of cannabis events worth checking out. None are Halloween-themed, sadly, but are sure to entice cannabis patients, advocates and non-patients alike. Westlake, OH - October 16th 2019:
Garden Club presents Medical Marijuana

Dr. Dvora Nelson of Lakewood Medical Clinic will sit down with advocates and prospective patients to outline the many health benefits of medical cannabis.
This event is perfect for anyone who has yet to receive their Ohio medical marijuana card. Here, you’ll learn about Ohio’s medical marijuana laws, as well as how cannabis many help you. Be sure to come equipped with questions so you’re not left in the dark about Ohio cannabis.
Dublin, OH - October 17th 2019:
HR LUNCH & LEARN: Medical Marijuana 101 for Employers

USI Insurance Services will be hosting an informational seminar about Ohio’s new medical marijuana laws, and how they apply to the workplace, namely in human resources.
This event is a MUST for companies looking to better understand how to care for Ohio medical marijuana patients in the workplace, and what to do now that Ohio’s medical cannabis laws are in full swing.

If you’re in the Columbus area, be sure to check out this Ohio medical marijuana patient education event. Like other patient education events in Ohio, this seminar focuses on the benefits and science behind medical cannabis, as well as the state of Ohio’s cannabis laws.
Learn about the qualifying conditions in the Buckeye State, and whether medical cannabis is right for you. Attendees are encouraged to ask questions and mingle with Ohio medical cannabis industry insiders. Should be a fun time!
