Below, we’ve collected two cannabis/CBD events throughout Ohio for this final week of February. Do you have a cannabis or CBD/hemp-themed event you’d like to see publicized? Join Dr. Robert Fried as he walks potential patients through the history and science behind cannabis.

In the course he will discuss:

  • A brief history of marijuana as medicine, and how this plant – legally prescribed in the United States from 1854 to 1941 – disappeared from medical use
  • How the “endo-cannabinoid system” – discovered only in the 1990s – helps your body maintain itself, and how medical marijuana works with that system
  • Evidence that cannabis is effective in relieving symptoms and possibly preserving health
  • Potential risks of medical marijuana
  • What diseases for conditions qualify you in Ohio to receive a recommendation to use medical marijuana
  • How you can get a medical marijuana card

Are you hosting an event you’d like to see listed here? Do you know about a totally rad cannabis event that you’d like to see us talk about? Just comment below and we’ll be sure to include your event in our next Ohio marijuana events update!

Over the next three editorials, we’ll be taking a look at the top eight democratic presidential candidates, as well as current Republican President Donald Trump, and where they stand on legalizing cannabis.

Impressive mixture of amber pistils and creamy trichomes. The pine green leaves are absolutely covered here, barely visible beneath the dreamy sea of pearly white.

Clevelanders can now get caught with just under half a pound of cannabis (200 grams) and only receive a citation for the offense. This means no jail time, no arrest, and no fine.
